Trivandrum -Varkala Tour Package

Day 01: Trivandrum

Pickup from Trivandrum Airport / Railway Station. After reaching the hotel and having freshup move to Anantha Padmanabha Swami Temple-Dedicated to Lord Vishnu- in Ananthashayanam posture- on the serpent Adisheshan. The temple is always in the limelight for the secret vault that no human can ever open easily. The whole atmosphere is just an amazing feel. After the darshana, will visit to Kuthiramalika Palace Museum or Puthenmalika Palace Museum, awaited by 122 smiling wooden horses built by Swathi Thirunal Balarama Varma. It clearly picturise the tradition of Kerala architecture. The Thiruvananthapuram Zoo, one of the oldest of its kind in India (19^th century)-spread over 55 acres is the next place to visit.. A perfect place to visit with kids. From birds to animals, turtles to snakes there are many more to see and enjoy. After having your lunch, will proceed to Shanghumukham Beach, one of the most famous beaches in Trivandrum- have all the mixtures to have a splendid and calm evening. The mesmerizing view of sunset from here is just worth watching.

Day 02: Varkala

Just have your breakfast and move to Varkala to end the trip in a drasting destination.

After breakfast proceed to Kapil Lake – a beautiful scenic picture perfect place with a mixture of land and water. Boating-the main activity here which attracts tourists a lot, enjoying the beauty of the lake while boating is really an exquisite visual. At the meeting point of Arabian Sea and Kappil Lake, there is also Kappil Beach to explore. It’s like a beach backwater mixed-up destination. After spending some time in the beach and having the lunch it’s time to move to Visit Varkala Beach (Papasnanam Beach), a must to see place. It’s believed that taking a bath here will wash away and destroys all your sins. It’s a calm and quiet hamlet of Varkala, an ideal holiday destination to explore at the maximum. Activities waiting for you-Sunbathing, Wind Surfing, Parasailing and soaking in the beauty of the beach with extremely wonderful sightseeing. Next Visit Anjengo Fort / Lighthouse, 10-12 kms from Varkala built by the British a century ago. The sight here takes you to the ancient british period and you can experience the same.

Back to Resort / Hotel. Relax.

Day 03: Varkala

After breakfast drive towards visit the famous SreeJanardhana Swami Temple, a form of Lord Vishnu, 2000 years old-also known as Dakshin Kaashi (Benaras of the South). Sivagiri Mutt is the next place to visit, the Mutt of Sri Narayana Guru where he lived and had Samadhi is a must place to visit. After having the lunch it’s time to deviate ourselves to a vacation mood. After having lunch visit Edava Beach-located in the small Edava village. The beauty of sea and the backwaters is the main attraction here. Enjoy the beauty of the blue lagoon where the sea and the backwater run parallel seperated by a more-than-one km of straight road.

Day 04: Trivandrum

After breakfast drive back to Trivandrum Airport / Railway Station.
